These past couple of months I have been focusing on culture as a whole.  In Minneapolis we have a street called Lake Street.  It is to say the least the "melting pot" of the city.  Seeing these different cultures live in one community is a beautiful thing.  Looking at all of this made me look even deeper into the spectrum.  Cultures around the globe have differences, and sometimes solve them violently.  I took all of these conclusive ideas, and formed a series called "Unified Understanding."   The organic shapes, and patterns in my work live as cultures coexisting, and the splatters live as the differences that never got solved.
